JULIE WYN SUMMERFIELD

Julie Wyn Summerfield was born in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada, in 1954. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1978 from the University of Guelph, and has also attended the Banff School of Fine Arts and the Naropa Institute. She has explored video, installation, and performance art, and has worked as a scenic artist for film and television. In 2015 she released a book of her work, “:Julie Wyn Summerfield 1+1=3”.

 

After many years in Paris and in Lesbos, Greece, she currently resides in Amsterdam.
